How it works in practice
The terms describe an omnibus wallet held by the payment partner: the sale sum sits there until the buyer confirms receipt or the claim window passes, and G2G can instruct the partner to withhold or forfeit a seller's payout when a dispute is raised. The refund policy is explicit that all sales are final and lists the exceptions: the buyer did not receive the order, or the item does not match the description, claimed within 72 hours of delivery. Account types classed as goods or services, including high-level and subscription accounts, get a 14-day insurance period from the date the order is confirmed, after which the buyer bears all risk.
The dispute route is a 48-hour ladder: report the case, allow the seller 48 hours, escalate to G2G if nothing happens, and respond to G2G's evidence request within 48 hours. Cases not escalated or appealed in time close automatically. Refunds are paid as store credit or to the original payment method at the buyer's choice, except that store credit is not offered to Singapore users. Two exclusions are worth underlining: handling fees are not refunded, and a chargeback or payment dispute stops any further investigation.
Questions
Does G2G give refunds?
Only under published conditions: the order was not delivered, or it does not match the listing, and the claim is raised within 72 hours of delivery (14 days for account types classed as goods or services). A refund can be paid as G2G store credit or to the original payment method. Sales are otherwise final, and starting a chargeback stops any investigation.
