Is G2G (g2g.com) legit?
Strong, 90/100. Escrow, 14-day warranty, a named company. 11% one-star on Trustpilot.
Verdict
A Singapore-registered marketplace running since 2015 with payments held by a payment partner until the buyer confirms, a 14-day insurance period on account orders, and a refund that can go back to the original payment method. The strict side is written down just as clearly: all sales are final outside non-delivery or a mismatch, a claim must be raised within 72 hours, a chargeback ends any investigation, and the Trustpilot average is the lowest of the large marketplaces here at 3.9. Suits a buyer who reads the 72-hour rule and acts inside it.
What holds up
- Payment is held by G2G's payment partner and released to the seller only after the buyer confirms receipt or the claim window passes.
- Account orders classed as goods or services carry a 14-day insurance period from confirmation, one of the longer windows among the marketplaces here.
- Refunds can be taken to the original payment method or as store credit, at the buyer's choice.
- The legal entity, registration number and Singapore address are in the terms; sellers go through camera-based ID verification.
- Seller commission is published by tier (9.99% at the Normal tier) with no listing fees.
What to weigh
- All sales are final unless the order was not delivered or does not match; buyer's remorse, mistaken purchases and claims raised after 72 hours are excluded.
- A chargeback halts any investigation and any refund; the buyer-side handling fee is not refunded.
- 3.9 on Trustpilot across 57,737 reviews, with 10.7% one-star, is the lowest average among the high-volume marketplaces in this ranking.
- Dispute cases close automatically if the buyer does not escalate or appeal within 48 hours of the seller's response.
Before you pay
- Clicking 'Confirm Received' finalises the order and releases the payment; the help centre says to confirm only after checking the product matches and works (G2G Support Center, Sept 2026).
- Recent one-star reviews describe refund requests going unanswered; the company's average reply time to negative Trustpilot reviews was 5.4 days when we checked (Trustpilot, Sept 2026).
- The terms reserve the right to forfeit a dormant account's credit balance after an extended period of inactivity, so do not park a refund in store credit for long.

Full review — how buying works, protection, fees, what buyers report
How buying works
G2G is a third-party marketplace: sellers list accounts, currency, items, top-ups, boosting and coaching, and G2G’s payment partner sits between the two sides. Prices are visible without an account. After payment the seller delivers through the order and its chat; the help centre asks buyers to communicate through G2G Chat and to click “Confirm Received” only after checking that what arrived matches the listing and works, because confirming finalises the order and releases the payment to the seller. If a seller has not delivered within the promised time, the buyer can report the case after two days.
The category structure is broad but the slugs are irregular, which is why the games list on the fact sheet is short: we recorded only the account categories we opened, from Fortnite and Valorant to Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile.
Buyer protection in practice
The terms describe an omnibus wallet held by the payment partner: the sale sum sits there until the buyer confirms receipt or the claim window passes, and G2G can instruct the partner to withhold or forfeit a seller’s payout when a dispute is raised. The refund policy is explicit that all sales are final and lists the exceptions: the buyer did not receive the order, or the item does not match the description, claimed within 72 hours of delivery. Account types classed as goods or services, including high-level and subscription accounts, get a 14-day insurance period from the date the order is confirmed, after which the buyer bears all risk.
The dispute route is a 48-hour ladder: report the case, allow the seller 48 hours, escalate to G2G if nothing happens, and respond to G2G’s evidence request within 48 hours. Cases not escalated or appealed in time close automatically. Refunds are paid as store credit or to the original payment method at the buyer’s choice, except that store credit is not offered to Singapore users. Two exclusions are worth underlining: handling fees are not refunded, and a chargeback or payment dispute stops any further investigation.
Fees and payments
Seller commission is published by seller ranking tier and charged per successful sale, 9.99% at the Normal tier, with no registration or listing fees; some categories run a promotional 4.99%, and GamePal and coaching sessions carry a flat 9.99%. On the buyer side a handling fee appears at checkout; the refund policy states it is not refunded. The payment guide lists cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, crypto (including USDT), Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and a set of country-specific methods, with prices displayed in local currency. The terms are governed by Singapore law with exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
What buyers report
The Trustpilot profile held 57,737 reviews at a 3.9 average on 13 September 2026: 85% five-star and 10.7% one-star, with the company replying to every negative review after an average of 5.4 days. The newest reviews are mostly about speed and individual sellers: “It was fast, very fast. And the purchase was exactly as described” (Trustpilot, 5★, Sep 2026, ES) and “always only sell from trustworthy people and refunds get handled in seconds when a problem occurs” (Trustpilot, 5★, Sep 2026, GB). A returning buyer put it as “This was my 2nd purchase. I now know how things work. First exposure was an experiment. This 2nd one was business.” (Trustpilot, 5★, Sep 2026, US).
The negative side in the same window is about refund requests that stall: “TERRIBLE FULL OF SCAMMERS ON THE SITE APPLIED FOR A REFUND NO ANSWER” (Trustpilot, 1★, Sep 2026, GB). Read against the policy, that is the shape of the risk here: protection exists, but it runs on deadlines of 72 hours and 48 hours that the buyer has to keep.
Who it is for
A buyer who wants a large, long-running marketplace with a Singapore company behind it and a refund that can reach the card, and who will check the delivery and raise any claim inside 72 hours. Less suitable for anyone who wants a relaxed post-delivery window or who might turn to their bank instead of the platform’s dispute process, since a chargeback ends G2G’s involvement.

G2G FAQ
Is G2G legit?
G2G is operated by GAMER2GAMER GLOBAL Pte. Ltd., a Singapore company with a published registration number and address, and has held its Trustpilot profile since 2015. Payments are held by a payment partner until the buyer confirms, and the refund, dispute and commission rules are published in its support centre. Its Trustpilot average is 3.9 across 57,737 reviews, with 10.7% one-star.
Does G2G give refunds?
Only under published conditions: the order was not delivered, or it does not match the listing, and the claim is raised within 72 hours of delivery (14 days for account types classed as goods or services). A refund can be paid as G2G store credit or to the original payment method. Sales are otherwise final, and starting a chargeback stops any investigation.
How does a dispute work on G2G?
You report the case on the order and give the seller 48 hours to respond or resolve it. If nothing happens, you click 'Escalate to G2G' for an investigation. Missing the 48-hour escalation or appeal window closes the case automatically, and G2G asks for evidence within 48 hours when it investigates.
What fees does G2G charge?
Sellers pay no registration or listing fee and a commission per successful sale that depends on their tier, 9.99% at the Normal tier, with a promotional 4.99% in some categories. Buyers pay a handling fee shown at checkout, which is not refunded if the order is cancelled.
