How buying works
PlayerAuctions is a player-to-player marketplace with a long history: the About page dates the company to 1999 and the copyright line to 2000. Buyers browse offers by game without logging in, register and verify an account at the first purchase, and pay PlayerAuctions rather than the seller. The seller then delivers within the delivery guarantee period stated on the offer. For accounts, the safe-trading guide describes a handover followed by a 72-hour inspection phase in which the buyer is expected to change the password and every recovery feature, using the on-site messenger to reach the seller.
